3D Production Design

This document will serve as my PDF submission for AG0810A 3D Production Design Semester 2 at Abertay University.

For the submission I must research. design and create a 3D character, environment and functional vehicle.

Narrative Theme







UnderEarth is a story I have been working on for about 8 years now though I have never brought it into three dimensions.
UnderEarth city is the last human inhabited structure on Earth. Hundreds of years ago, a sentient toxin that systematically seeks out and destroys biological life was released by a mysterious meteorite that struck the planet.
The Toxin wiped out almost all life on the planet and forced the survivors to retreat underground.
UnderEarth, the last human city was built, deep underground, far away from the vicious and corrosive Toxin.
Presently, the Trust, a corrupt regime of well-equipped soldiers has assumed control of the city through violence and fear. A small band of resisters strive to tip the balance of power away from those who would push humanity to further ruin.

Character



Rayne Daemon.
Human male at 21 years of age.
Long dark hair, red glowing eyes, muscular physique.
Ripped and torn black clothing after many battles with the trust.
Red bandana tied around his neck. An old sword from bygone days with a rusted blue hilt in a sheath on his back.
Rayne has been tortured and experimented on by the Trust. He had an unexpected reaction to a shard of the meteorite and gained fantastical powers. Increased strength and speed etc.

Vehicle


Rocket powered motorcycle. Low to the ground and fast to avoid being intercepted by the corrupt authorities of the Trust. This vehicle is primarily designed for stealth and recon missions by the resistance against the corrupt Trust.

Environment


UnderEarth Freeway. Underground city. Earth’s surface has been poisoned and has not been habitable for hundreds of years.
The survivors managed to build a network of tunnels and large underground spaces which eventually were expanded upon, the result was UnderEarth City.
